Welcome to Ms.Winkly! This article is designed to guide you through Ms.Winkly onboarding with speed and simplicity in mind.
From here, you will learn how to add employees, configure leave types, and setup your employees' leave balance.
Add Employees
An employee account allows your staff to log into Ms.Winkly app.

From side menu, click Employee. |

Click Add Employee at top right corner. |

Fill in employee details. Make sure the email entered is valid and your staff is currently using it. |

Click Save when you are done. Ms.Winkly will send an email to your staff with his/her login ID and password, together with an instruction on how to login. |
Leave Settings
Each employee must be assigned a Leave Group. A leave group is a set of leave types with customisable properties necessary for Ms.Winkly leave balance system to work.
- Initial entitled - Leave amount entitled for the initial year.
- Carry forward - Maximum amount that can be carried forward to next year.
- Yearly increase - Yearly entitlement increase.

Leave Balance
Employee leave balance starts with 0 by default when they are first created. Follow steps below to set staff leave balance.

From side menu, click Leave & Task. |

Click Leave Balance tab at top panel. |

Click on leave balance of a specific employee to edit. |

Click Save when done editing. |
